Can you help on these unsolved cases and help us conclude how these ancestors fit into the Allanach family trees?

1. Crimean War – Solved

There is an entry into the records of the Royal Artillery for a ‘George Allanack’. This looks in fact to be a transcription error and the entry looks to be for ‘George Aldrick’.

2. Jamaican George

There is an entry in 1819 in Acncestry. Unfortunately no original document is available and the only details are the parish and year. This may be another transcription error although note that the parish is the same as where the other Allanach children were born.

3. North Carolinan Colonist

There is an entry for a ‘John Allanack’ in the 1790 census of North Carolina. He is shown as resident in Halifax County and living with 3 female family members as well as 6 slaves. I cannot find any record that evidences how John is related to other Allanachs , or from when he started living in North Carolina.
