1812
James has reverted to surname ‘Stuart’ in the Old Parish Record registry for birth of daughter Penelope.

1814
James is still resident in Delrossac and again uses the name ‘Stuart’ on birth record for entry in OPR for son John.
1818
James is still resident in Delrossac and again uses the name ‘Stuart’ on birth record for entry in OPR for son Francis Garden.

Am researching the family of James Allanach, b 21 October 1774, at Toldaquhill, Strathdon, Aberdeen, Scotland; son of Duncan Allanach & Sophia Glass.
James married Isabel Rannie abt 1811-1812. Isabel was daughter of Arthur Rannie & Isobel Gibbon. James died before 1841 as wife Isabel’s marital status given as “W” on the 1841 Strathdon Census.
James & Isabel had the following known children (most of whose birth/christening records found in OPR under the surname STUART. It is unknown why the surname changed from Allanach to Stuart, but in 1841, 1851, & 1861 Strathdon Census records, Isabel and family are found under Allanach or Alnach):
Penelope, b 14 June 1812 at Delrograss, Strathdon, Aberdeen, Scotland; married James Grassick (my 2nd-great-grand-uncle), son of Archibald Grassick & Ann McHardy; Penelope & James had 8 known children: Ann, Mary, Helen, James, George, Alexander, Penelope & Isabella.
