Amelia arrives in Boston from Liverpool July 19th 1902 aboard the SS New England (later called SS Romantic) She has a final destination of Laneville and has about £30 declared to her name (joint with mother).

The US census of April 1910 confirms Amelia and Domineik living together with a newborn son James J. Amelia’s mother Amelia also lives at the same address (764 E Eighth Street, Boston). Domnieck is also stated to have Scottish heritage with a Scottish father. He works as a Steam Fitter.

Amelia is residing at 293 Emerson Street, Boston.
1918
Amelia dies in 1918 and is buried in Seaside Cemetery, Gloucester, Massachusetts. A notice is given in the Boston Globe 31 July 1918 on Page 9. Note Amelia is buried as ‘Rebecca Dormady’.
